CheckPoint 360° Competency Feedback System– Giving Managers the Tools to Optimize Their Performance

The CheckPoint 360° system provides managers with a rating of their performance from everyone they work with - their boss, other managers and their own direct reports. The results of this assessment show managers:

This assessment tool provides measurable results that can help your organization boost performance across all departments.

How it Works

This assessment is administered online or on paper in about 15 minutes. The manager does a self-rating. The manager is also rated by his or her boss, peers and direct reports. All data, except for the Boss’ rating, is strictly confidential. Employees are encouraged to answer honestly, knowing that their comments will be not be seen by their colleagues or supervisors.

CheckPoint 360° measures 18 management competencies in eight key categories to gauge the effectiveness of a manager’s job performance. These competencies include:

  • Communication - How well does the manager listen and communicate?
  • Leadership - Does the manager instill trust, delegate effectively and provide direction?
  • Adaptability - Does the manager adapt well to new or unforeseen situations?
  • Relationships - Does the manager build effective relationships between team members?
  • Task Management - How efficiently does the manager work?
  • Production - Does the manager achieve results?
  • Development of Others - How well does the manager motivate others and develop their individual talents?
  • Personal Development - Does the manager seek opportunities for self-improvement?

CheckPoint 360° Reports

CheckPoint 360° reports are clear and easy to read. They provide actionable feedback and evaluation methods for a manager’s progress in self-improvement. Reports include:

  • 4-color Multi-rater Feedback System - Describes the manager’s skills in the 18 competencies evaluated in the survey and provides a Personal Development section to help the manager improve job performance.
  • Comparison Reports - Help evaluate a manager’s efforts to learn and implement new management techniques and leadership competencies.
  • Organizational Management Analysis - Summarizes individual CheckPoint surveys used across the organization; provides a critical analysis of where the organization stands now and offers a benchmark of measurable criteria for evaluating future performance.
